Samsung in Partnership with AMD to Develop Next-Generation Mobile Chipset.
Samsung has just announced that they are in a strategic partnership with AMD to bring the high-performance Radeon graphics to their mobile processor. Samsung has confirmed that the AMD GPU will now be set for their next flagship product. AMD is now infiltrating the mobile industry with Korea’s powerhouse – Samsung.
Two Years in the Making .
Apparently Samsung has been working with AMD for nearly two years. There were rumors, especially in Korean forums, that the AMD’s upcoming mobile graphics chip will outperform Qualcomm Adreno 650 significantly – almost by a factor of three. Samsung has no unveiled this new GPU will bring life into their impotent Exynos chip series. This will bring Samsung back in the game with held hands with AMD.
